South Carolina Program Help & Support

South Carolina’s accountability system includes engagement surveys administered to students. These surveys are an important measure of school quality. Each year, all public schools in South Carolina must administer these surveys in grades 3 through 12. The State Department of Education administers these surveys via Cognia’s online delivery platform, eProve.

Schools and districts can use the tabs on this page to navigate to helpful resources on administering, using, and interpreting these Student Engagement Surveys and the survey results to enhance their school’s continuous improvement plans and guide school improvement initiatives.

Cognia has provided a 6-minute podcast to introduce schools and districts to the Student Engagement Survey.
